Yodoe Inn - Imazu Tanakaya has two types of rooms: Japanese Room & Home Ofice (entire space only, up to 8 guests)
and Western-style Room (entire space or dormitory, up to 6 guests).
Japanese Room still has original ceiling and walls from the time it was built at the beginning of Showa period
and Home Office was renovated with the theme of Taisho period.
Western-style Room was renovated by the members of “Yodoe Project”
between December 2020 and February 2021, and it is a very unique design.
We also offer the Café Space, garden, and “Edo-style Room” with Irori fireplace and Kamado cook stove.
We hope you enjoy the country life at this nearly 90-year-old Kominka (Japanese old house)
and surrounding environment, such as ocean, mountains, and fields.
Amongst the entire building, the Japanese Room is the only space that still has an original ceiling and walls that was built about 90 years ago.
You can go out to the south-facing and west-facing gardens from the attached Engawa porch. At the Engawa, you can enjoy looking at the garden, reading books, and doing your work.
If you reserve Japanese Room, the Home Office is included, and these rooms can accommodate up to 8 guests.
*You can put 5 futon mattresses in Japanese Room and 3 into the Home Office.
You can see a beautiful sunset from the west-facing window.
All the Books in the bookshelves had been collected by the owner’s father.
Using an antique table and chair by the window, you can enjoy the view of Japan Sea, garden, and fields while read books, do your works, etc...
Home Office will be included when you reserve the Japanese Room, and these rooms can accommodate up to 8 guests.
*You can put 5 futon mattresses in Japanese Room and 3 into the Home Office.
This is a very unique dormitory-style room.
There are 2 single beds in the loft and 1 double (up to 2 guests) and 1 single bed at the bottom. If you put one more futon mattress in the empty space, you can accommodate up to 6 guests.
There are various outlets everywhere and all beds come with small shelves. There are also desk, chair, refrigerator, and microwave to share.
Bathroom, sink, and laundry room next to the entrance are available 24/7.
In the bathroom, there are a bathtub and 2 showers.
2 hot spring facilities are within 5-minute drive, and we offer the transportation service.
● Yume Onsen Hot Springs - 10:00 AM ~ 9:00 PM (weekday), 10:00 AM ~ 10:00 PM (weekend and holiday). Entire facility closes on every 4th Wednesday.
● Rapi-Spa Hot Springs – 10:00 AM ~ 10:00 PM. Entire facility closes on every Thursday.
There is also the famous Kaike Hot Spring district with several hot spring facilities within 15-minute drive.

- We are a family-friendly facility. If the entire room is reserved, children of all ages are welcomed in both Japanese and Western-style Rooms. There is no charge for children under 6 years old if he/she is sleeping in same bed/futon mattress as parents. If your child needs his/her own mattress, it will cost the same as an adult.
- If 5 guests are staying in the Western-style Room, 2 of them will be sleeping on 1 double bed together.
- You need to make a reservation at least 3 days in advance to have the Accommodation and Dinner plan (San’in’s Seasonal BBQ and Nabemono dish).

You can enjoy experiences like cooking with Kamado cook stove and Irori hearth and making mochi and shimenawa rope in Edo-style Room (fee applies).
About Payment and Cancellation Policy
Please make a payment at the time of check-out.
There is no cancellation fee if you cancel more than 30 days prior to the arrival. You will be charged 30% of the accommodation fee if you cancel between 29 and 14 days prior to the arrival, then 50% if you cancel between 13 days and 7 days prior, and 80% if you cancel between 6 and 3 days prior.
You will be charged for the entire fee if you cancel after 4 PM of 3 days prior to the arrival.

*In case of rain and strong wind, we offer the BBQ at Café Space, using Weber’s electric grill (AI assist).

Seafood – Seasonal seafoods caught by local fishermen in Sakaiminato, Yodoe, and other local areas.
Others – Eggs, foraged foods, and mushroom
Processed foods – Locally made tofu, Chikuwa fish cake, dairy products, noodles, and etc...
